Hi, I'm Marie!
I'm a multimedia journalist based in Chicago. Previously, I worked at WBEZ, helping produce podcasts Motive and Curious City, and broadcast content for the daily radio show, Reset with Sasha-Ann Simons. My work has been featured in South Side Weekly, the Chicago Sun-Times, and Latino USA. I am a double graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where I got my start in radio at NU’s college station, WNUR 89.3 FM. I was born and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey, but I've become a Chicagoan at heart. When not furiously mixing audio, I'm probably daydreaming, admiring dogs, or indulging in way too much reality television.
